Myross Wood Retreat Centre is situated near the village of Leap, which is on the main road between Cork and Skibbereen. Leap is situated at about ten kilometres from Skibbereen. There are two entrances to Myross Wood. The first, for light vehicles, is 200 metres from the village of Leap on the road to Skibbereen. This is our long front avenue. The second entrance, for heavy vehicles, is found by following the sign for Union Hall, which is seen at a further 200 metres along the same road to Skibbereen. Our back entrance is indicated about a kilometre along this road to Union Hall.

The Schull/Goleen Bus departs Parnell Place Bus depot, Cork City, at 6.00 p.m. each week-day evening and arrives at Leap at 7.30 p.m. where you will be met. The return bus to Cork passes through Leap at 9.05 a.m. If flying to Cork Airpost, there is an Air Coach Service operating frequently from Cork Airport to the Cork Parnell Place Bus Station. Please check the exact times. Please note: the Sunday Bus Service varies from the week-day service, so please check the Sunday bus times.

Travelling by car from Cork, follow the N71 South West route.
