"The greatest gift of God, I would think, Is the gift of Life

The greatest Sin of humans,it would seem, would be to return

that gift Ungratefully and Unopened."

from: The Silent Holocaust

Everybody who has ever been to Myross Wood will remember this tree.

This year Myross Wood is once again to become a Noviciate.

As its branches embrace our memories may we be embraced in a deep

rooted Faith, a firm Hope and a warm Love!

An elderly resident in a nursing home in Maryland wrote a simple poem:

When forgotten tulip bulbs

Push their sword-like leaves

Through the dark earth

Their cup of colour yet to follow

I believe in the Resurrection

by Monica Ball.

Throughout the coming year we will continue our reflective "walk in the garden".
